Don’t lose Hope
Now a days you think the end is near,
All your life living in fear
Feels like you’re getting sucked down a funnel
Not realizing there’s light in the tunnel
Keep your head up, don’t sit and mope
Tomorrow’s a new day, don’t lose hope
Anxiety is in your mind, built up frustration
Negative vibes, always contemplation
What should I do? Is it right?
Cloudy days, lonely nights
Don’t worry, stick with Me (God)
We’ll make it thru, just wait and see
The ozone layer, sexual disease
Crooked politicians, people in need
The fights and wars, crime on the street
The self centered materialistic people that you meet
Hope is what this poem’s about
Don’t wait for change; change yourself
Be honest and caring, unselfish in your ways
I think it is time the earth sees better days
I know you think this mess is hard to fix
If you just changed yourself, we’d be in the mix
Love, Peace that’s part of the plan
Consideration for your fellow man
Now you can look around you
And blame somebody else
But that’s a pessimistic view, be honest to yourself
If you just held out your hand to someone who’s in need
Put aside the superficial stuff like “selfishness and greed”
I think I said enough about this world and where I stand
Let’s all get together to make this place a better land!

We are living in a changing society. Our world is not the same world we lived in 20 years ago. If you are a believer in Christ it’s hard to discount the similarities between what’s happening in our world now and what is referred to as “end times”. One thing that the bible makes clear is that we are to pay attention to what’s going on, not to be shaken by it, but to be “awake”, alert and prepared for what is happening and what is to come. Whether you believe in Christ or not, this is good advice.
Despite what is going on in the world around us, we can live a victorious life!
His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 1 Peter 1:3
A Joseph Project has been created to prepare you to survive the current and continuing economic, social, and spiritual times in which we live. It’s our goal to help you achieve victory in your life and to encourage you to help others to do the same.
We do not aim to please men, but to please God who knows us through and through. 1 Thessalonians 2:3
